'In recognition of Earth Day, on April 22, 2004, RyKy Records (tm) announced that the “Save The Earth Musical”, written and composed by Joseph F.M. Pokorny, will be released later this spring as the label’s sixth CD album and second musical.

In recognition of Earth Day, on April 22, 2004, RyKy Records (tm) announced that the "Save The Earth Musical", written and composed by Joseph F.M. Pokorny, will be released later this spring as the label’s sixth CD album and second musical.

The album will feature the "Save The Earth" title song, plus "Serengeti", "Monkey Melody", and other songs that collectively communicate a story of hope, love, and yearning that mankind do the right thing for all creation and Save The Earth.

According to Pokorny, the musical takes the listener on a journey from the first dawn of creation and proceeds through the chain of development to plant life, animals of the Serengeti, and global expansion with a grand finale -- a journey to Mars, where we reflect upon the main theme, "Save The Earth".

"Visual images on the planned enhanced CD will illustrate the majesty of it all," he said.

RyKy Records (tm) will also be releasing the lyrics for all of the songs in the musical via a free .pdf download from LyricSongbooks.com.
